The Welsh family name Tartans were designed by the Cambrian Mill (Circa 1826) in Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys.They are registered with the Scottish Tartans Authority and are also registered designs.They are woven under licence to the Wales Tartan Centre in Swansea.
The Welsh Heart Company came in to being in August 2014. I had always had a love of tartan, and came across the Welsh Tartans and upon finding my Grandparents tartans Phillips and Hughes grew an idea.

My vision for the Welsh heart was a child giving a Welsh Tartan Heart to their Grandparents as a gift symbolising love, warmth, Welsh tradition, culture and it's history. This gift remains the solid favourite gift idea and mainstay of my small Welsh business, followed closely by the Welsh dragon pictures. All hand produced in West Wales.
